I've seriously got writers' block, so I'm just writing something else while I find inspiration. It's just a weird songlyric thingy I made up while daydreaming.
Looking back at all I've done,
Those memories, every one.
The sins, the merits, the joys and tears,
What differentiates this from other years.
These hands of mine, they may look pure,
but what hurt have they made others endure?
These lips of mine, though stained with sin,
May hold many inspiring words within.
Out with the old, in with the new,
I've gotta change for the better.
It's gonna be a brand new year...
The goals that I wanna achieve are still far away.
Wipe away those tears,
Just let out those bottled-up fears.
Stand up and scream out loud,
Letting it go is what it's all about.
Out with the old, in with the new,
I'm gonna make up for everything...
This isn't about right and wrong,
It's just about being me.
Sitting here, all alone,
I get up and start to head home.
But in my head remains the promise...
I'll be better next year.
